The operating problem.

The client had a unique ecommerce product and strong opinions about how the information should be presented. A conventional all-in-one storefront approach was not the desired experience.

The operating requirement was to preserve a fast, flexible product-presentation layer while still using Shopify for ecommerce functionality and merchant processing.

What the operator actually did.

The case is described in terms of implementation and operating responsibility, not generic capabilities.

01Experience Architecture

Use WordPress and GeneratePress for the presentation layer so the product could be explained with more control over layout and delivery.

02Commerce Integration

Connect Shopify to the WordPress experience so shopping and transaction functions remained available without forcing the entire site into one platform.

03Product Presentation

Support detailed, client-directed product information rather than reducing the product to a standard catalog template.

04Launch Coordination

Verify the connected storefront and transaction path as part of launch rather than treating the two systems as unrelated.

What changed.

SYSTEM DELIVERED

The Shopify commerce layer was successfully connected to the WordPress website while preserving the client's preferred presentation approach.

This case supports a system-delivery claim. It does not claim a revenue increase, conversion lift, or performance percentage that was not measured and retained.

What supports the result statement.

Evidence type is disclosed so the reader can distinguish delivered work, direct observation, and client-reported outcomes.

Why this experience matters to the current system.

Raptor's current methodology takes the operating lessons from this work and formalizes them: inspect the full system, verify what is real, identify dependencies, document the change, and validate what happened after implementation.
